Remembering the 70's

20130116-0016 Decatur, IL  -  When I was 10 years old, I would take evening walks with my father, Wayne Krows, to inspect the progress of the Griswold Physical Education Center at Millkin University.  My dad was the Vice President of Development for Millikin and was in charge of fund raising.  We took these walks so that he could give first hand reports to the Griswold family who had so generously donated the funds for this facility. My fondest memory was standing in the deep end of the pool before it was actually poured.

My dad loved Millkin and taught me to love it as well.  I can’t begin to tell you how important this university is to me or how proud I am to be a member of the Big Blue family.
